FYI, (AFAIR following your (Peter's) suggestion,) all people that use the
64-bit Windows Installers use (1) (IIRC "to reduce memory requirements and
prevent/postpone addressspace fragmentation --- even on 64-bit Windows),
i.e., the 64-bit Windows Installers are by default (and only) built,
released and distributed with 32-bit OIDs.
I cannot give any counts, though ...
