[Monetdb-developers] How to know the database size and use indexes?

Hi, I wonder if there is a way to get the size of a database (SQL/XQuery)? And I wonder if I can ask MonetDB (SQL/XQuery) to use a specific index explicitly? -- Thanks, Mo

Hi, Sorry for bothering you. I wonder if anyone could kindly point to me a few related articles that I can find out the solutions? Thanks, Mo On Mon, Feb 1, 2010 at 4:16 PM, Mo Zhou <mozhou@umail.iu.edu> wrote:

you can just look at the disk size of the database directory I think it's impossible to request a specific index to be used
