Help:How can i start MonetDB development quickly
sir/mam, I am a newbie to MonetDB development . I have read some paper and user guide about MonetDB. And i download the sourse code and want to modify the code, especially the storage part, to test my idea. However, the project is too large to understand quickly. anyone can give me suggestion ? Whether are there documents or structure charts about the project that make newbie to understand quickly. thanks. Andy
Hi Andy, other than scientific papers, the MonetDB website and the code itself, there is no further documentation. For concrete and specific questions, please use the developers (or users) mailing list. sir/mam: I have read some scientific papers about MonetDB. I am very interested in dababase cracking, which is an amazing adaptive index for column oriented database. Now, i want to test some ideas about database cracking.
