Hi, Thank you for your interest. Indeed, the current is a development version, which is used nightly for backward testing. This version is not guaranteed be safe, e.g. can be broken by accidental checkins, or platform requirements. The website gives the status http://monetdb.cwi.nl/projects/monetdb/Development/TestWeb/Current/index.htm... The nightly stable should be sufficient for "june 2008" users to benefit from bug fixes.
