Hey Ben, I hadn't considered that yet. I think the program crashes because it's running two queries in parallel with the same client context, which tends to blow up. Great! The changes you made have fixed the build on my end. I also wanted to ask about concurrency - I've had a quick play with releasing the GIL in the extension code - this works well for allowing python to do other things while the query is running, but segfaults if I try to run two queries in separate python threads. Do you plan to support that kind of concurrency?

MonetDBLite for Python is still very much in a "it works on my machine" state. Feel free to use it but be aware that it is not particularly stable yet.
