What other options do i have to support these type of functions? is it a good decision to use Pyhton and R language function to overcome this shortage or I stick to traditional SQL turnaround.

In the default the window functions have be reimplemented. This is the
first step towards more support for window functions including the
aggregate functions. Unfortunately we are al time constraint to make
much progress on this.
